We are a collective group of young changemakers dedicated to raising $5,000 per year in support of Food4Kids Muskoka.

The Peer Project began with a single, highly successful fundraiser for Food4Kids Muskoka. After raising an incredible $4,500 at one event, 10-year-old founder Jeremy was inspired to start a sustained "business" dedicated to the cause.

His family encouraged him to think bigger: instead of just a “business”, let's create a movement, a platform where kids help kids fight local food insecurity.

our mission & goal

The Peer Project is an initiative dedicated to raising a minimum of $5,000 every year in support of Food4Kids Muskoka.

More than fundraising, we are a platform that empowers youth creativity. Our mission is to encourage, support, and spotlight young people who use their own unique talents to make a difference in their community & support their fellow peers in a meaningful way.

kids helping kids

We believe that every great idea deserves a launchpad. The Peer Project is here to help any kid who wants to start their own fundraiser for Food4Kids Muskoka. We offer:

  • Marketing Support: Spreading the word through our website and social media.

  • Fundraising Tools: Providing checklists, basic supplies, and maybe even a little swag!

  • Guidance: Sharing tips and support to make every youth fundraiser successful.

We are thrilled to be vendors at the 5th Annual Muskoka Market: Huntsville’s Holiday Edition in the heart of Downtown Huntsville. Come join the fun, see the carolers, and shop all the unique local businesses.

Our Booth: Fireside Warmth & Giving

Jeremy and his friends have been busy preparing two perfect seasonal products:

  1. Homemade Holiday Fire-Starters: Made from recycled materials, these are ideal for bonfires & camping. They make fantastic, eco-conscious stocking stuffers!

  2. Loom Bracelets: Our original popular bracelets, in a variety of colours and sizes!

100% of every sale goes directly to Food4Kids Muskoka. Every purchase helps us toward our $5,000 annual goal and ensures a local peer receives essential weekend food bags. We are already at $4,525 and can’t wait to beat our goal by the end of 2025.

plus: Win the Ultimate Outdoor Survival Gift Pack!
